Welcome to D2 Derm

My story:

As a Dermatologist, I treat skin conditions and monitor for skin cancers. As a person who spent many years out in the sun, I see my own skin changing over time. Though I want my skin to look its best, I don't want to spend any more time or money than is necessary. I have had the opportunity to read about and try many products over the last 20 years. I used to tell my friends and patients what to purchase over the counter, however, most of the products don't have all the ingredients I wished for, the number of products and choices are staggering and I have noticed the prices going up steadily. As I reached my forties, I became more particular about my own skin care. I chose a few specially designed products for sun protection, anti-oxidants, photo-aging and moisturizing. If one product contained ingredients that addressed all four, all the better. I liked these products so well that I started giving them as presents to friends, relatives, neighbors and people at work. This way I was giving people something they could really use. These same people urged me to sell the products because they were happy with them and were weary of trying to wade through the overwhelming number of choices of "beauty products" being sold on the radio, television, department and grocery stores. (These days, I even find it hard to choose "the best" toothpaste!)

Hydrating Creams

I personally do not want a 10-step regimen to be practiced every morning and evening. For this reason, I will list regimens that are simple and not time consuming. I have tried to keep the product line as straightforward as possible. Some people have skin that is more oily and prefer a lighter product, others prefer a heavier product or have sensitive skin and require something gentle. I have personal favorites I recommend for most people such as sunscreens and a retinol yet I have included a few different types in each category to allow for some variety so you can individualize to your preferences. I hope you enjoy these as much as I have.
